Harvest Time International was founded in 1991 by Pastor John and Mary Murphy. Their vision was to help less fortunate people, by gathering food and basic need items in their own garage to distribute to families and churches. Soon the garage was outgrown, and the first storage space was rented in 1994.
In the beginning the main focus was on assisting local nonprofit organizations, soup kitchens and food banks in Central Florida and worldwide. However, in 1999, Harvest Time International opened its doors to directly serve local families through the Community Assistance Program, today known as the Community Hope Centers.
Over the years, Harvest Time International relocated their operations several times in order to have additional warehousing space due to the constant yearly growth of the ministry.
On December of 2006, Harvest Time International was blessed to move its operations to a brand new 100,000 sq.ft. building in Sanford, Florida.
The Community Hope Center, Healing & Worship Center, Medical & Dental Care Centers, Administration Offices, and other related offices are located in these facilities.
Harvest Time International continues to grow each year, meeting the needs of thousands of families in Central Florida and abroad.
